Thomas A. Barber, PhD is Head of Operations and Product Development at AutoIVF, where he leads product strategy, manufacturing readiness, and operational execution for the OvaReady automated IVF platform. He is responsible for translating design intent into buildable systems—aligning requirements, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to deliver reliable, scalable hardware and single‑use kits while managing cost, schedule, and supply risk. Most recently, Tom served as a founding team member and Senior Director at MicroMedicine, where he supported partner selection, supply chain strategy, and system verification and validation as programs moved from prototype to regulated product. Earlier, he spent eight years at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Center for Engineering in Medicine leading translational microfluidics programs and cross‑functional collaborations supporting more than $45M in funding.
