Dr. Denny Sakkas, PhD is a co-founder of AutoIVF and serves as Head of the Scientific Advisory Board. He has worked in in vitro fertilization (IVF) since the early 1980s, and is widely recognized for helping disseminate laboratory innovations and best practices adopted by IVF labs worldwide, including training teams in micromanipulation and blastocyst culture. Dr. Sakkas is currently Chief Scientific Officer at Boston IVF / IVIRMA North America and also holds an academic appointment at the Yale School of Medicine. He has published extensively and continues to advance innovations in human and animal reproduction, and he has been recognized with honors including the 2025 ASRM Distinguished Researcher Award and “Embryologist of the Year” recognition.

Education: Dr. Sakkas completed his undergraduate training at the University of Melbourne (Australia) and earned his PhD from Monash University (1990), where his doctoral work was conducted in a leading reproductive research environment.
