David Stern is CEO of Kindbody, the only fertility benefit manager delivering vertically integrated, end-to-end care through a national clinic network and genetics testing lab. He brings more than 30 years of women’s health and fertility industry experience, with a track record of building executive teams and launching products across global pharmaceutical and biotech markets.

Prior to Kindbody, Stern served as CEO of Boston IVF, one of the largest IVF center networks in the United States, leading the organization through its 2024 combination with IVIRMA Global, the world’s largest fertility group. Earlier, he was CEO of Symbiomix Therapeutics, a venture-backed biotech, where he led the company’s transition from development stage to commercial launch ahead of its 2017 acquisition by Lupin Pharmaceuticals. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Head of the Global Fertility Franchise at Merck Serono, driving worldwide strategic growth of the portfolio.

Earlier in his career, Stern held executive and commercial roles at Celmatix, Ohana, OvaScience, and Organon Pharmaceuticals, and has served on multiple women’s health and fertility corporate boards.

Stern earned an MBA from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brandeis University.
