Baris R. Mutlu, PhD is Head of Innovation at AutoIVF, where he leads technology pipeline and device concept development for the OvaReady platform and next‑generation programs. He translates scientific advances and first‑principles engineering into prototype devices and performance data that de‑risk the path to Development and, ultimately, sustaining R&D. He also guides data collection, analysis, and validation strategies that support publications, patents, and regulatory submissions.

Most recently, Baris advanced new device architectures and experimental approaches that connect clinical needs to scalable design choices, accelerating the transition from early concepts to development‑ready prototypes. Previously, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where he developed microfluidic cell sorting, characterization, and imaging tools for cancer research, personalized therapy, and early diagnosis.
