Dr. Alan S. Penzias, MD is a leading reproductive endocrinologist and physician-scientist and a long-standing member of the clinical faculty at Boston IVF, one of the largest fertility care networks in the United States. He is also an Associate Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he educates the next generation of reproductive endocrinologists and leads fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.


Dr. Penzias has practiced and advanced clinical fertility care for decades, specializing in all aspects of infertility evaluation and treatment while providing evidence-based care to diverse patient populations. His leadership extends to national professional service, including roles on the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) Board of Directors, practice committees, and task forces that shape clinical standards and policy across reproductive medicine.


A prolific author and lecturer, Dr. Penzias has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and presented research around the world. He has been repeatedly recognized by his peers and patients for excellence in fertility care and clinical innovation.
