Mitchel Sayare, PhD

Michel Sayare, PhD was co-founder, Chairman and CEO of NASDAQ-listed ImmunoGen, Inc. (IMGN), a billion-dollar biotechnology company focused on the development of anti-cancer drugs. Dr. Sayare began his professional career as an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Sayare serves on the boards of several for-profit companies, including NASDAQ-listed Altimmune (ALT), of which he is also Chairman; Advanced Aesthetic Technologies; and Energesis, Inc.. He is a member of the Dean’s Council of the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and is co-founder of the ASU Health Futures Council. He is also Vice Chair of the Barrow Neurological Foundation at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix.
